Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Gonzalo Beasley (ranked 25367 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Elmer (ranked 5904 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Gonzalo Beasley has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Gonzalo Beasley seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Phil Schofield and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elmer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Elmer with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

Elmer tries to keep at a distance but Beasley has taken the fight into the clinch.
Beasley is trying to drag Elmer to the mat but Elmer just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Elmer breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jack Elmer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Elmer is looking to clinch but Beasley is avoiding it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Elmer throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Beasley jumps into guard, dragging Elmer to the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Elmer wants to control from the top but Beasley keeps moving.

Beasley had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Elmer defends it easily.
