Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Master Splinter (ranked 3935 p4p, 394 weight class) and DJ Kat (ranked 1773 p4p, 216 weight class). Splinter comes to the cage accompanied by Snäfä - Kaikest Huolimatta pt2 feat. Mc Rambo & Iivo. DJ Kat has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Master Splinter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, DJ Kat!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kat will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Splinter tries to counter with a takedown but Kat is quick to defend against it.
Kat ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Splinter moves away.
Splinter moves out of range of the strikes.
Kat dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A swing and a miss from Kat.
Kat throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Splinter sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Splinter is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Kat.
Kat lands a nice looking body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kat stuffs the takedown attempt from Splinter. Splinter gets slowly back to his feet.
Kat throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Splinter sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Splinter tries to counter with a takedown but Kat is quick to defend against it.
Splinter definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Nice sprawl there from Kat as Splinter shoots in.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kat uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Splinter tries to close the distance and clinch but Kat swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kat misses with a leg kick
and Splinter counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Kat trying to control but Splinter postures up.
Splinter has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kat defend it? Splinter steps over the head and cranks it - Kat is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Splinter!
