PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimi Loiri (ranked 3265 p4p, 133 weight class) and Randy Savage (ranked 4465 p4p, 161 weight class). Savage is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Holy Diver by-DIO as Lazers go off as plays as Confetti drops from the cei. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Summer Carpenter and Topper Green.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage looks to land a right hand but Loiri moved out of range.
Savage looks to throw the jab but Loiri is out of range.
Loiri connects with a jab.
Savage with a nice cross.
Loiri takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Savage has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Savage there as he acknowledges the shot.
Loiri takes one on the button.
Loiri with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Savage to score with a decent uppercut.
Loiri dives in and grabs Savage's left leg, looking for a takedown. Savage pushes down on Loiri's head and hops out.
Savage lands a head shot.
Loiri has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Death Valley Training Facility in the buildup to the fight.
Loiri throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Savage has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Savage waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Loiri.
A counter left hand to the body from Loiri misses its target.
Savage's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Loiri connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Savage scrambles back to his feet.
Savage gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Loiri.
Savage thows a left - swing and a miss!
Loiri misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Savage to counter with a crisp jab.
Savage rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Loiri decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Savage's guard.
Savage looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Savage is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Savage controlling Loiri's posture.
Savage wants to sweep here but Loiri controlling him for the moment.

Loiri is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Loiri wants to control from the top but Savage keeps moving.
Loiri stands and throws Savage's legs to the side, diving into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Loiri is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Savage is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Loiri is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Savage is trying to escape and Loiri transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Savage is forced to tap! Nice work there by Loiri! Very nice indeed!
