The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bain looks for a takedown but Hoi sprawls well.
bain shoots in looking for a takedown. Hoi tries to sprawl out of it but bain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hoi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
bain tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hoi swivels and escapes.

bain shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hoi's guard.

bain looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hoi is fending him off so far but bain persists. Nope, Hoi circles away and we're back to standing.
Hoi dances in with a quick combination. bain is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Hoi snaps bain's head back. bain stumbles backwards against the cage. Hoi steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with bain's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. bain just didn't come prepared.
