Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jens Hansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akin Oluzawade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oluzawade is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mike Jones - Back Then. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Hansen takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Oluzawade tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Oluzawade comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Akin Oluzawade showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Hansen has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Oluzawade uses from the top position.

Hansen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Oluzawade is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hansen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Oluzawade's back instead.

Hansen has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Oluzawade has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Oluzawade really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hansen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hansen is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Oluzawade with him. Oluzawade is trying to defend but Hansen has an arm under the chin now! Oluzawade grimaces and is forced to tap out!
