Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Lyle Roach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Steve Jobs!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ben Hemmingworth and Chris Dean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jobs drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Roach tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
Roach has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Roach being controlled for a moment.
Roach is looking to reverse the position.
Roach tries to escape but Jobs is in control.

Jobs thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Jobs working the ground and pound from side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Roach can't do much from the bottom here.
Roach is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Roach really is a fat lump.

Jobs controlling the position.
Roach is looking to reverse the position.

I wouldn't like to be where Roach is right now.
Jobs grinds an elbow into Roach's temple.
Roach can't do much from the bottom here.
Roach trying to remain calm as Jobs controls from the top position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Jobs has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Roach takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Roach is breathing heavily.

Jobs shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Roach is trying to defend but Jobs finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Roach has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jobs is on him like a limpet, forcing Roach back against the cage.
Jobs crunches a lovely knee into Roach's ribcage.

Jobs breaks the clinch.

Roach gets caught flat footed, as Jobs shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jobs slips nicely into half guard.

Jobs postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Roach to stand up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Jobs throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Roach tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Jobs is in Roach's guard.
Roach is looking to stand back up but Jobs counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Roach.

Nice strikes from Jobs there.

Jobs escapes and gets back to his feet.
Jobs throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Roach tries to sprawl but Jobs drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Jobs stands up and beckons Roach to join him on the feet.

Jobs looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Roach!
Roach tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jobs scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Jobs unloading with bombs!
Roach tries to lock up and control but Jobs gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Jobs scoring with strikes but Roach is staying in there.
Jobs trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Roach takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Jobs sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Jobs can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Roach is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steve Jobs dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Roach gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Jobs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Roach swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jobs lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.


Roach is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jobs stands and steps away. Roach gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Jobs shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Jobs showed some decent athleticism there.
Oh Roach is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jobs scores with a big shot! Roach's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Roach! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Jobs!
