PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Get Some (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and BJ PENCIL (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some closes this distance looking for a takedown but PENCIL circles away.

PENCIL closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Some tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but PENCIL wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
PENCIL moves into full mount!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
PENCIL thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Some sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Some uses his free foot to push down on PENCIL's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for PENCIL.
