Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Kovalenko (ranked 5100 p4p, 100 weight class) and Ernesto Oliveira (ranked 9039 p4p, 249 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 55 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ernesto Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira misses with a hook
and Kovalenko counters with a straight right hand.

It looks like Ernesto Oliveira has been cut.
Kovalenko misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Kovalenko fails to land with a series of punches.
Oliveira unleashes a big counter combination but Kovalenko bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Oliveira tries to clinch up
and Kovalenko cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kovalenko definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Oliveira tries to clinch there but Kovalenko circles away.
Nikolai Kovalenko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kovalenko keeps the fight on the outside.
Kovalenko went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oliveira throws an overhand right that lands on Kovalenko's shoulder, as Kovalenko tries to avoid the shot.
Oliveira is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Oliveira should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

As Oliveira looks to move away, Kovalenko throws a big counter combo but Oliveira just gets out of the way.

Oliveira throws a low kick but Kovalenko moves out of range easily.
Kovalenko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Oliveira throws out the jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Oliveira looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Oliveira has eaten all the pies!
Kovalenko cracks Oliveira with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Oliveira ducks right into an uppercut from Kovalenko.
Kovalenko gets in close and tags Oliveira with a short punch that almost sends Oliveira to the mat! Oh Oliveira is in big trouble! He turns his back on Kovalenko, trying to create some distance but Kovalenko rushes him, striking wildly and Oliveira goes down! The referee tackles Kovalenko into the cage to end the fight! Kovalenko is one violent man!
