The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kawa has closed the distance and engaged Richmond in a clinch.
Richmond changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Kawa fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Kawa lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Eldon Richmond has been cut.
Richmond moves away from the strike by Kawa.
Kawa leaves Richmond with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kawa misses the jab.
Richmond could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kawa drops Richmond with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Richmond looks back up at him and smiles so Kawa waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Richmond displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kawa throws out the jab.
Richmond fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kawa avoids it really well and circles away.

And Richmond counters with a quick kick to the body but Kawa blocks it.
Kawa pushes Richmond up against the cage in a clinch.
Kawa works on Richmond's body with a couple of short punches.
Kawa has Richmond pressed against the cage.
Kawa tries to circle away but Richmond has him pinned against the cage.
Kawa has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Richmond tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kawa just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kawa grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Richmond takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Kawa cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
