Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ulysses Ratliff (ranked 8885 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dre Bly (ranked 7435 p4p, 586 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bly's choice of entrance music: O dog- Gucci Mane. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ratliff slips a jab and a cross from Bly.
As Bly looks to move away, Ratliff throws a big counter combo but Bly just gets out of the way.
Ratliff takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bly moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ratliff doesn't manage to clinch there - Bly circles away.
A head kick misses from Bly.
Bly works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bly throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bly tries to bum rush Ratliff with a series of wild strikes but Ratliff uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Bly lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ratliff circles away quickly and effectively.
Ratliff fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bly, pushing him back against the cage.
Ratliff works on Bly's body with a couple of short punches.
Ratliff keeps control of Bly as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Bly wants to get back to striking at distance but Ratliff won't allow it.

Ratliff drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bly gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Bly pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bly cracks Ratliff with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Sloppy strikes from Bly. Those never looked like landing.

Bly cracks a nice hook into Ratliff's ribs.
Bly keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Bly misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Ratliff counters with a nice leg kick.

Bly tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bly finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ratliff wants to clinch.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bly throws a combination that misses
and Ratliff counters with a left and a right that stings Bly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dre Bly dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ulysses Ratliff's cut.
That's time! Ratliff's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
A left and a right from Bly both land. Nice combination.
Bly lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ratliff backs up against the cage.
Ratliff ducks under a wild hook from Bly.
Bly cracks the inside of Ratliff's front leg.
Bly throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Ratliff stumbling backwards into the cage! Ratliff bounces back off the cage towards Bly, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Bly lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Bly celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Dre Bly!
A relieved looking Dre Bly thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
