The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koerner closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnson circles away.
Gunter Koerner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koerner looks for a takedown but Johnson sprawls well.
Johnson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Johnson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Johnson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Johnson has an Americana. Koerner didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Johnson is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Johnson hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
