PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Youssoufa Diallo (ranked 22833 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Bud (ranked 2868 p4p, 0 weight class). Diallo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Africa soukouss. Bud has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. On his way into the cage it seems that Youssoufa Diallo has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Youssoufa Diallo seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diallo shoots for a takedown but Bud saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Bud scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Bud looks winded!
Diallo shoots in and drives through. Bud sprawls well.
Bud looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Bud throws a leg kick but Diallo sees it coming and moves out of range.
Bud throws a jab when Diallo was well out of range.
Diallo shoots in looking for a takedown. Bud tries to sprawl out of it but Diallo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bud manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bud tries to counter by closing the distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Youssoufa Diallo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bud defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Diallo.

Diallo shoots in and bounces Bud off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Diallo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Bud is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Bud tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Diallo presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Diallo postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Bud looks a forlorn figure.

It looks like Big Bud has been cut.

Bud is still in real trouble! Can Diallo finish him?
Diallo postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Bud badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Diallo around the waist but Diallo pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Diallo is the winner by TKO! Diallo jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Youssoufa Diallo!
A relieved looking Youssoufa Diallo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
