Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jon Bane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dexter Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Paul Tew and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bane shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kelly pinned against the cage. Kelly gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Kelly connects with a body shot.
Kelly misses with a looping left.
Kelly connects with a body shot.
Kelly with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Bane is breathing heavily.
Kelly moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Kelly pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Kelly cracks a nice hook into Bane's ribs.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bane takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Nice straight punches there by Kelly. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Kelly.
Kelly tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bane was well out of range. Poor timing from Kelly.
Bane on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Kelly with a nice cross.
That's one minute gone in the round.
BOOM! Kelly lands a beautiful left hook that drops Bane. Bane tries to recover but Kelly is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Bane lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dexter Kelly!
