Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bronko Strunz (ranked 474 p4p, 74 weight class) and El Misterioso Damballah (ranked 1006 p4p, 138 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, El Misterioso Damballah!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, John Kavanagh and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strunz connects with an inside leg kick.
Damballah tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Damballah scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Damballah swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Strunz appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Strunz is looking to score with low kicks.
Damballah throws a body shot but no joy.
Strunz looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Damballah tries to clinch there but Strunz circles away.
The crowd cheers as Strunz lands an impressive looking overhand right. Damballah doesn't seem phased though.
Strunz turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Damballah shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Strunz is trying to defend but Damballah finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Well, if Damballah is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Strunz wants to get back to full guard.
Damballah missing with the ground and pound from half guard.

Strunz is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Damballah seems to be looking for submissions.
Damballah prevents Strunz from improving his position.
Damballah working over Strunz with some ground and pound. Strunz looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Strunz has momentary wrist control but Damballah slips an elbow through the middle.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Strunz is on top in guard.
Damballah is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Strunz defends well.

Damballah is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Strunz controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Damballah is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Strunz has his hands clasped together but Damballah extends and breaks Strunz's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Damballah.

El Misterioso Damballah bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
