The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Rogers.

Zabirov has closed the distance and engaged Rogers in a clinch.
Zabirov lands a knee to the body.
Rogers has Zabirov pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Zabirov manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Zabirov throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rogerss head.
Rogers tries to pull guard but Zabirov forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Zabirov scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Rogers has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Zabirov is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Zabud Zabirov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Rogers.
Rogers is working for takedown but Zabirov is calmly controlling the position for now.
Rogers looks winded!
Zabirov is pressed up against the cage. Rogers has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Zabirov down to the mat. Zabirov avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Zabirov lands a big uppercut and Rogers crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Rogers looks OK. Zabirov waves Rogers back to his feet!

It looks like Steve Rogers has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zabirov slaps away a takedown attempt from Rogers, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Zabirov feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rogers sprawling to the canvas! Rogers rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Zabirov finish him?!

Rogers is rocked!
Zabirov darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Rogers's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Zabirov before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zabud Zabirov!
An out of breath Zabud Zabirov thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
