The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Em lands a jab to Scanlan's midsection.
Em throws a big shot that misses.
Em ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Scanlan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Em scores with a jab to the head.

It looks like Cecil Scanlan has been cut.
A jab from Em does it's job there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice body punch from Em.
Em punishes Scanlan's body with a nice straight punch.

Em scores with a hook.
Em misses with a wild body shot.
A swing and a miss from Em.
Scanlan lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Em throws a body shot but no joy.
Em looks to score with a jab to the body but Scanlan is just out of range.
Scanlan flicks out a counter leg kick but Em steps away.
Em cracks Scanlan with a good jab.

Em misses with a wild body shot.
Em with a nice cross.
Em lands a nice shot to the body.
Em waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Scanlan.
Em is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Scanlan.
A little jabbing left from Scanlan on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Scanlan moves out of range as Em strikes.

Scanlan gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That has opened up Cecil Scanlan's cut even more.
Em looks to land a right hand but Scanlan moved out of range.
Scanlan looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Em ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Em dips to his left and cracks Scanlan with an uppercut!
Em connects with a body shot that sends Scanlan's belly button to the back.
Em scores with a hook.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Em feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Scanlan sprawling to the canvas! Scanlan rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Em finish him?!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Em cracks Scanlan with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Em has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Scanlan to stand back up!

Scanlan is rocked!

The cut above Cecil Scanlan's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Are you kidding me?! Em ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Scanlan clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
