The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Keichi looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Herring!
Herring tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee asks Keichi politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Keichi prefers to stall for the moment though.
Keichi wants to stand but Herring has his arm trapped.
Herring takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Herring really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Keichi takes a little break here. Herring wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Herring knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Keichi on the ground.
Keichi advances to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Herring wants to hold on but Keichi pushes him away.

Herring is trying to reverse the position but instead Keichi has taken his back - oops!
Keichi slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Keichi sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Herring taps out!
