Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Said Zee (ranked 6167 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan Kain (ranked 4661 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Said Zee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Logan Kain!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kain shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zee sprawls well. Zee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kain gets slowly back to his feet.
Zee goes for a double leg but Kain avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kain continues to drive forward.
Zee fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Zee closes the distance and clinches.
Kain has had enough of the clinch but Zee keeps him there for the moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kain's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Kain counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Zee scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Zee moves into the clinch.

Kain breaks from the clinch.
Zee goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Logan Kain has been cut.
Kain closes the distance and clinches up with Zee, looking for a takedown. Kain pushes Zee against the cage but Zee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Zee tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kain manages to circle out of the way.
Kain defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Zee.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Said Zee. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zee throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kain's waist but Kain gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zee off to one side.
Kain now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kain. Zee does a little dance to reset his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kain.
Zee looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Zee scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Kain has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Zee is on him like a limpet, forcing Kain back against the cage.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zee has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kain is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Kain escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zee tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zee stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Zee wants it to stay on the feet.

Zee gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Zee drags the fight down to the ground.

Kain avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kain engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Zee is looking to stand up but Kain isn't so interested in that idea.
Kain trying to control the position from guard on top but Zee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zee is trying to control the position but Kain postures up.
Kain cracks Zee with a solid left hand.
Kain is fighting to break Zee's control of his arms but Zee is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Zee has Kain up against the cage in a clinch.
Kain prevents a takedown attempt there.
We've been informed that Kain has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Zee tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kain smiles and moves away.
Kain doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Zee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kain misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Zee.
Zee thuds a left hand into Kain's body.
Said Zee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zee shoots in but no luck this time.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Said Zee dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Logan Kain's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Kain looks for a takedown but Zee sprawls well.
Kain has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Zee rushes Kain and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Kain is trying to break the clinch but Zee has him pressed against the cage.
Zee is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kain pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Zee is trying to push Kain away but Kain has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Zee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kain swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kain is breathing heavily.

Zee darts in and clinches Kain up against the cage.
Kain tries to score a body lock takedown but Zee shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Kain has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Zee regains guard immediately.

Zee has his feet on Kain's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Said Zee is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Zee tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kain swivels and escapes.

Zee lands a left and a right that send Kain crashing to the mat, dazed. Zee thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Kain is rocked!

That has opened up Logan Kain's cut even more.

Zee plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Kain swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Kain face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
