Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alex Stern (ranked 4884 p4p, 354 weight class) and David Anderson (ranked 5304 p4p, 370 weight class). David Anderson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson looks for a takedown but Stern sprawls well.
Stern throws a big counter combination but Anderson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
David Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anderson doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Stern to counter with a crisp jab.
Stern clobbers Anderson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A head kick by Anderson misses
and Stern counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Anderson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Stern counters with a two punch combo.
Stern cracks Anderson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
