The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Sandra Marshall and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Saadoun dives in and grabs Sene's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sene pushes down on Al Saadoun's head and hops out.
Sene shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Sene showed some decent athleticism there.
Sene decides to stand and escape the position.
Sene closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sene breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sene gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Al Saadoun is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Sene to keep the fight standing.
Sene is trying to trip Al Saadoun. He has hold of a leg but Al Saadoun is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sene persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Sene has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sene lying in Al Saadoun's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Al Saadoun decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Sene taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
