Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benson Whyte (ranked 96 p4p, 18 weight class) and Masa Sanada (ranked 90 p4p, 14 weight class). Whyte comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Marley - Jammin. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Sanada.
Sanada on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Sanada lands with a nice body punch.
Whyte lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Whyte throws a looping overhand right but Sanada ducks down to avoid it.
Whyte lands a glancing blow to the side of Sanada's head.
Sanada scores with a sloppy right hand. Whyte should have avoided that one.
Sanada looks to score with a jab to the body but Whyte is just out of range.
Sanada misses the jab.
Whyte smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Whyte was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Whyte lands a big right hand that sends Sanada crashing to the mat! Whyte stays standing though and waves Sanada back to his feet!

Sanada throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Whyte sees it coming and avoids it easily.

And Whyte counters with a quick kick to the body but Sanada blocks it.

Whyte throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Sanada counters with a crisp right hand that drops Whyte! Sanada lets Whyte back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Whyte is rocked!
Whyte switches off momentarily and Sanada cracks him with a monster right hand! Whyte topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Sanada dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Sanada!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Masa Sanada!
