Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shiba Ibaki (ranked 5942 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Goats (ranked 23429 p4p, 802 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Travis Goats!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ibaki has his takedown stuffed

and Goats holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Goats gets control of Ibaki's arms and successfully pulls guard. Goats will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Goats looking for a guillotine here but Ibaki defends easily.
Ibaki tries to free his leg and advance position but Goats is retaining full guard.
Ibaki trying to control the position from guard on top but Goats is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ibaki has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Goats is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Ibaki is looking to escape.
Ibaki knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Goats on the ground.

Goats is looking for a kimura here.
Ibaki is looking for a sweep. Goats is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ibaki manages to get to full guard.
Goats controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ibaki wants to stand up but Goats is controlling him.
Goats should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Goats advances to half guard.
Goats seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
It looks like Goats might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Goats decides to stand up.
Goats looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Goats scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

It looks like Shiba Ibaki has been cut.

Goats shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Goats was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Ibaki explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Goats throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Ibaki stumbling backwards into the cage! Ibaki bounces back off the cage towards Goats, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Goats lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Goats celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
