Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jose The Blitz (ranked 246 p4p, 32 weight class) and Petdee Sitsongrit (ranked 1492 p4p, 161 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Sitsongrit. That snapped The Blitz's head back.
Sitsongrit throws a shot from downtown. The Blitz moves away and avoids it.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Sitsongrit - that will leave a mark!

and The Blitz counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Sitsongrit is trying to keep The Blitz in close.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Sitsongrit clobbers The Blitz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The Blitz is keen to just control but Sitsongrit is a slippery customer.
The Blitz uses his free foot to push down on Sitsongrit's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Sitsongrit.

That's time! The Blitz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Sitsongrit throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sitsongrit throws a leg kick which misses The Blitz's front leg but catches the back leg as The Blitz tries to avoid it.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! The Blitz crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Sitsongrit - the referee stops the clock and The Blitz gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Sitsongrit. The Blitz manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The Blitz goes for a double leg but Sitsongrit avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the ropes as Sitsongrit continues to drive forward.

With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Sitsongrit creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Petdee Sitsongrit spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
