Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thierry Paulin (ranked 344 p4p, 34 weight class) and Milton Friedman (ranked 741 p4p, 76 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Milton Friedman!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Friedman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Paulin pinned against the ropes. Paulin gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Paulin lands a big head kick that sends Friedman tumbling to the mat! Paulin takes a step backwards and waves Friedman back to his feet - he wants the finish!

This has been an exciting period of action!

Friedman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Paulin did well to prevent Friedman getting side control.

Milton Friedman was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
