Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tony Callaghan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Calvin Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Sandra Marshall and Winston Alpacca.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ramirez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Callaghan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Ramirez gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Callaghan cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Ramirez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Callaghan tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Ramirez is in Callaghan's guard.

Callaghan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ramirez off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Ramirez moves into the clinch successfully.
Callaghan is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Callaghan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ramirez pulls his leg out and moves away.

Callaghan has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Ramirez is trying to keep an underhook but Callaghan manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Ramirez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Callaghan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Callaghan's back!

That was a close second round but I would say that Tony Callaghan will probably get the nod.

That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Callaghan! Submission of the night perhaps?
