The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okanovich swats away the attempt to clinch by Jonhson.
Okanovich will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Okanovich keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Jonhson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Okanovich circles away.
Jonhson misses with a takedown attempt - Okanovich sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Okanovich tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Jonhson manages to circle out of the way.

Okanovich closes the distance and clinches up with Jonhson, looking for a takedown. Okanovich pushes Jonhson against the cage but Jonhson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Okanovich shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jonhson as he jumps to the side.

Jonhson wants to control from the top but Okanovich keeps moving.

Okanovich is looking for a triangle here but Jonhson uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Jonhson tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Okanovich throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jonhson decides to stand back up. Jonhson steps back and let's Okanovich get back to his feet.

Jonhson shoots in looking for a takedown but Okanovich manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jonhson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Okanovich tries to land a front kick but Jonhson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Okanovich is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jonhson is controlling him.

Okanovich trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Okanovich wants to sweep here but Jonhson controlling him for the moment.

Jonhson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Okanovich does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Okanovich swats away the attempt to clinch by Jonhson.
A little feinted left hand from Okanovich on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Okanovich moves into the clinch successfully.
Okanovich is pressed up against the cage. Jonhson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Okanovich down to the mat. Okanovich avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Jonhson had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Okanovich defends it easily.

Okanovich knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jonhson on the ground.

Jonhson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Okanovich doesn't defend quickly enough and Jonhson has managed to lock this one up! Can Okanovich escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Jonhson on a fantastic submission victory.
