The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Switek looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Switek knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Beard on the ground.
Switek throwing shots but Beard is blocking nicely.
Switek throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Switek is taking a breather. Beard says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Beard moves into full guard.

Switek thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Switek avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Beard is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Beard working for a triangle but Switek defends it easily.
Switek pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Beard is keeping the position for now.

Beard has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Beard looking to control.
Beard can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Switek controls the pace.
Switek wants to get up but he can't break Beard's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Beard looking to hit a scissor sweep but Switek is one step ahead there.

Beard is looking for a triangle but Switek pushes his legs off easily.
Switek has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Beard controls Switek momentarily but Switek frees himself.

Beard looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Beard has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Switek should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Beard has tightened it up now! Switek should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
