Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ken Curtis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and luciano tiririca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Curtis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Run to the Hills. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that luciano tiririca was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by tiririca. That's going to slow Curtis down.
tiririca ducks under a wild hook from Curtis.
tiririca is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Curtis misses with a straight left.

Curtis wants to clinch up but tiririca keeps it at a distance.

No joy there for Curtis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ken Curtis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Curtis misses with an uppercut. tiririca saw that one coming.
Curtis stalks tiririca and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into tiririca's face. tiririca staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like luciano tiririca has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

tiririca misses with a takedown attempt - Curtis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
tiririca changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Curtis tries to avoid it but tiririca manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Curtis to the ground. Curtis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Curtis is looking for a sweep.
Curtis parries the strikes from tiririca easily there. tiririca is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Curtis to escape.

tiririca shoots in looking for a takedown. Curtis tries to sprawl out of it but tiririca keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Curtis manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ken Curtis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of luciano tiririca.

Curtis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent tiririca stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Curtis misses with the combination.
Curtis misses the shot to the body.
tiririca goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
A big right from Curtis misses.
tiririca moves out of range of the strikes.
Curtis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but tiririca circles away quickly and effectively.

tiririca misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Curtis tries to keep at a distance but tiririca has taken the fight into the clinch.
Curtis has had enough of the clinch but tiririca keeps him there for the moment.

tiririca manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
tiririca wants to get back to his feet but Curtis is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Curtis is pushing down on tiririca's leg trying to pass to half guard. tiririca is fighting to maintain full guard but Curtis has managed to sneak the leg through.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Curtis is sneakily working for an arm triangle but tiririca sees it coming and defends easily.

Curtis throws a lazy right hand but tiririca sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Curtis throws a jab when tiririca was well out of range.

The fighters circle, before tiririca throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Curtis's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! tiririca lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
