Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chris Boag (ranked 1645 p4p, 210 weight class) and Ritchie Souza (ranked 3203 p4p, 358 weight class). Souza has chosen Gwen Stefani-Luxurious as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ritchie Souza!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boag stuffs the takedown.
Souza tries to close the distance and clinch but Boag swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Souza closes this distance looking for a takedown but Boag circles away.
Boag wants to clinch
and Souza counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Boag with a jab.
Souza throws a body punch but Boag moves out of range.
Boag lands a lovely overhand right.
Chris Boag seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Boag's jab looks to have found its range, popping Souza under the eye.
Souza shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Boag as he avoids it easily.
Chris Boag has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ritchie Souza.
Boag lands with an overhand left.
Boag avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Boag clinches up with Souza and pushes him back against the cage.
Boag lands a shoulder strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Souza fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Boag lands a left hand that snaps the head of Souza backwards.
Good body shot from Boag.
Boag is leaning against Souza and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
A right hand to the body from Boag.
Souza looks winded!
Boag scores with a shot to the side of Souza's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Boag scores with a hook to the body.
Souza jumps guard but Boag turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Boag lands a body shot.
Boag working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Boag lands a nice uppercut.
Boag lands with a light punch inside.
Souza looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Boag digs a right hand into Souza's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Souza's gas tank.
Boag pushes Souza back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Boag ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Boag no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Boag looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Souza is defending well. Boag quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Souza has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Boag celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Chris Boag!
After winning the bout, Chris Boag thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
Ritchie Souza spoke after the fight, saying 'That dude is on PED's he needs to be tested ASAP. Cheater...'.
