Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roman Owens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Paradoski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Owens comes to the cage accompanied by Disturbed- Inside the Fire. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Owens scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Paradoski is working for a guillotine from mount but Owens frees his head quite easily.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Owens counters with a shoot takedown. Paradoski fights it but they end up in guard.

Owens is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Paradoski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Owens.
Paradoski wants to improve his position but Owens is controlling well.

Owens postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Paradoski to stand up.

Owens has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Owens is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Paradoski is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Paradoski flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Owens anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Paradoski and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Owens slips an arm under Paradoski chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Owens has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Owens is squeezing on Paradoski like an anaconda would it's prey. Paradoski fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
