Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kyrakos Adamou (ranked 25161 p4p, 695 weight class) and Mister Gibbs (ranked 5347 p4p, 500 weight class). Mister Gibbs is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamou throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Gibbs counters with a straight right hand.
Adamou takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Adamou has his takedown stuffed
and Gibbs counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Gibbs's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gibbs duly obliges.

It looks like Kyrakos Adamou has been cut.
Adamou looks to land a combination but Gibbs avoids it well.
Gibbs lands a nice shot that snaps Adamou's head back.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Adamou gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gibbs counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That kick from Gibbs tenderised Adamou's leg. Adamou is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gibbs throws a series of strikes that have Adamou backpedaling.
Gibbs rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Adamou moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gibbs bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Adamou's head backwards.

Adamou gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Adamou's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gibbs connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Adamou scrambles back to his feet.
Adamou tries to close the distance and clinch up but Gibbs swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Gibbs scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Gibbs connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Adamou momentarily.
Adamou doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Gibbs counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kyrakos Adamou. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gibbs has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Gibbs has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Adamou should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gibbs has tightened it up now! Adamou should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
