Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lance Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Cheney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carter comes into the arena with Can't Be Touched blaring out of the sound system. Cheney has chosen Cheney Approaches as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Carter misses with a takedown attempt - Cheney sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Carter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Carter closes the distance and clinches up with Cheney, looking for a takedown. Carter pushes Cheney against the cage but Cheney circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Carter. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Lance Carter has been cut.

Carter clinches but Cheney breaks the clinch
and Cheney counters with a low kick, right behind Carter 's knee.
Carter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cheney pinned against the cage. Cheney gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Carter fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
A head kick misses from Carter.
Cheney throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Cheney checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Carter shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Carter showed some decent athleticism there.

Cheney has a hand on Carter's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Carter takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

The referee warns Cheney that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Carter is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Cheney is surviving well by controlling Carter's body position as best he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Carter will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

and Carter counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
