Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thad Clarke (ranked 24803 p4p, 0 weight class) and AKimbo Cutt (ranked 3954 p4p, 0 weight class). AKimbo Cutt will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Clarke, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Clarke could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Cutt tries to bum rush Clarke with a series of wild strikes but Clarke uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Clarke clinches up with Cutt and pushes him back against the cage.

It looks like Thad Clarke has been cut.
Clarke keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cutt 's efforts to push away.
Clarke tries to score a body lock takedown but Cutt shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Clarke has hold of one of Cutt 's legs. Cutt is fighting the takedown attempt but Clarke gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Cutt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Clarke. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Clarke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Clarke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Clarke gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Cutt moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Cutt has managed to clinch.
Cutt wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cutt prevents the takedown attempt.
Clarke wants to take the fight to the mat but Cutt manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thad Clarke. That's going to take a lot out of him.

A frustrated look appears on Cutt 's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Cutt wants to break the clinch but can't.
Clarke has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Cutt is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Clarke takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Cutt tries to break free but Clarke pushes him back against the cage.

Cutt ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

and Cutt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Clarke wants to clinch but Cutt slips to the side
and Cutt counters with a left and a right that stings Clarke.

Clarke is rocked!
Clarke walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Clarke limp body while Cutt jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
