Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksey Borodin (ranked 2165 p4p, 95 weight class) and Archie Trew (ranked 1159 p4p, 53 weight class). Trew has chosen Fuck You - Lily Allen as his entrance music. Aleksey Borodin is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice body kick there by Trew.
Borodin misses with a hook
and Trew counters with a low kick, right behind Borodin 's knee.
Borodin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cats Killers Academy Mma in the buildup to the fight.
Borodin throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting Trew counter with a right hand.

Trew clinches.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Trew.
Trew's coach down at Russian Bears Training Center was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Trew's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Borodin blocks an elbow strike.
Trew creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Trew tries to land a knee to the head but Borodin blocks with his arms.

Trew manages to break the clinch.
Borodin looks to land a right hand but Trew moved out of range.
Aleksey Borodin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Trew rushes Borodin and presses him up against the cage.
Borodin trying to control the position but instead, Trew has worked for underhooks and has pushed Borodin into the cage.
Trew throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Borodin is leaning against Trew and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

It looks like Archie Trew has been cut.
Borodin works on Trew's body with a couple of short punches.
Borodin blocks the elbow strike.

Trew manages to break the clinch.
Borodin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Trew has taken the fight to the clinch.

Borodin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Trew dips to his left and cracks Borodin with an uppercut!

Trew pushes Borodin up against the cage in a clinch.

Trew breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Borodin connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Borodin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Trew manages to avoid it.

The fighters circle momentarily. Borodin darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
A slow jab from Trew misses its intended target.
Trew avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Trew slips under a jab from Borodin.
Trew tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Borodin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Trew keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Borodin.
A little jabbing left from Trew on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Borodin throws a body shot but no joy.
Borodin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Trew throws out a counter right but Borodin avoids it with no problem.
Trew moves in looking to clinch but Borodin pushes him off.
Borodin misses with a straight left.
Trew tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Borodin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Trew tries to clinch up but Borodin circles away and keeps his distance.

Trew clinches up with Borodin and pushes him back against the cage.

Trew has a couple of punches blocked by Borodin.
Nice elbow from Trew.

It looks like Aleksey Borodin has been cut.

Trew lands a vicious elbow to the side of Borodin's head that scrambles his senses and sends him wobbling down to the canvas! Trew tries to finish him with strikes but Borodin still seems able to defend himself so Trew steps back and lets Borodin get back to his feet - he wants no part of the ground game.
Borodin is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Trew moves into the clinch successfully.
Trew throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Borodin blocks it with crossed arms.

Trew drops Borodin with a big knee straight up the middle! Borodin is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Borodin is rocked!

Jeez, Aleksey Borodin's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Borodin is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Trew doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Borodin crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Borodin's bad books for that mishap!
