The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gelinas scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Harper is trying to get back to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gelinas accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Gelinas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Gelinas is nestled in close to Harper, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Gelinas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harper. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gelinas stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Harper throws up his legs and catches Gelinas in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Gelinas tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Harper! That came out of nowhere!
