The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Macbeth scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Macbeth takes a little break here. Daniels wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Macbeth wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Daniels, who protects the arm well.
A lull in the action here as Macbeth stalls from top position.

Macbeth is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Macbeth is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Daniels will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Macbeth unleashes a big counter combination but Daniels bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Macbeth changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Daniels looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Macbeth takes a little break here. Daniels wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
It looks like Macbeth might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Daniels tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Macbeth presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Macbeth is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Daniels is rocked!
Macbeth looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Daniels covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
