Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marty McFly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giuseppe Broadus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McFly's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Power of Love by Huey Lewis & The News. Giuseppe Broadus has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Damien Edna.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Broadus drops McFly with a left and a right! Oh, McFly is hurt - Broadus dives into side control looking to finish!

It looks like Marty McFly has been cut.
You can see the frustration on McFly's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Broadus misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
McFly manages to get back to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Broadus prevents McFly from improving his position.
Broadus wants to stand up but McFly is controlling the position.

McFly actively working from the bottom here.
McFly has a hand on Broadus's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Broadus takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
McFly is wriggling around trying to escape.
Broadus really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McFly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
McFly working to try and regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McFly bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Broadus wants to stand and escape but McFly is having none of it.
McFly trying to control the position from guard on top but Broadus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

McFly has gone for a leg lock! Broadus slips out almost immediately though and dives into McFly's guard.
Broadus is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

McFly had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Broadus is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. McFly Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Broadus's back instead.

McFly is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Broadus is defending well though. McFly let's go of the attempt for now.
Broadus is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

McFly takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Broadus throws a sloppy head kick and McFly moves out of range easily.
A jab-cross combination lands for Broadus and sends McFly crashing to the mat! Broadus follows him down to the mat - McFly regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McFly looking for submissions off his back.
McFly tries to get to full guard but Broadus has control of the leg.
Broadus content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Broadus is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

McFly looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Broadus pushes past his half guard into mount!
Broadus controlling the pace for now.
McFly tries to get back to half guard but can't.
McFly prevents any damage by holding on tight.
McFly wants to hold on but Broadus pushes him away.
McFly gets back to half guard.
McFly slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
McFly can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Broadus controls the pace.

McFly is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

McFly escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Broadus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
McFly wants to sweep here but Broadus controlling him for the moment.

Broadus stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Broadus lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Marty McFly's cut is getting worse.
McFly fails with the takedown.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Broadus throws a series of strikes that have McFly backpedaling.

Marty McFly's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Broadus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McFly fails with a takedown attempt.
Broadus lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Jeez, Marty McFly's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Broadus misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Broadus lands with an uppercut that bounces McFly off the cage and back into rage.
McFly shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marty McFly. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Broadus attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Broadus throws a series of punches but McFly moves out of range.
Broadus looks to land a combination but McFly avoids it well.
McFly shoots in for a double leg but Broadus sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Broadus escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Marty McFly is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Broadus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Marty McFly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Broadus misses the shot to the body.
Broadus is looking to clinch but McFly is avoiding it.
McFly shoots in and drives through. Broadus sprawls well.
No luck for McFly with that takedown attempt.
McFly avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Giuseppe Broadus is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Broadus moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
McFly shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Broadus pinned against the cage. Broadus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
McFly looks for a takedown but Broadus sprawls well.
McFly shoots in looking for a takedown. Broadus tries to sprawl out of it but McFly keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Broadus manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Broadus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Giuseppe Broadus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

McFly fails to land the takedown.
Broadus connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
McFly misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
