The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elukka shoots in looking for a takedown but Kouyate manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Elukka's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Elukka shoots and misses
and Kouyate counters with a stiff right hand.
It looks like Arvo Elukka has been cut.
Arvo Elukka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Elukka shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kouyate but Kouyate pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Arvo Elukka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Elukka throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kouyate counters with a nice uppercut.
Elukka ducks under a wild hook from Kouyate.
Kouyate misses with a straight right.
Kouyate cracks Elukka with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kouyate has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Elukka to stand back up!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kouyate throws a pinpoint strike between Elukka's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Elukka crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Kouyate scores a great knockout victory!
