Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Deffo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor misses with a wild body shot.

Deffo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Taylor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Deffo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Taylor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Deffo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Deffo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Deffo shoots in looking for a takedown. Taylor tries to sprawl out of it but Deffo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Taylor manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Taylor throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Deffo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Deffo had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Taylor is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Deffo Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Taylor's back instead.
Taylor is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Deffo.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Chuck Taylor.
I think Taylor has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
