The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brooks moves into the clinch.
Termei stops a takedown attempt from Brooks.

Termei blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

That was a close round but I would say that Jerome Brooks will probably get the nod.

Brooks shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Termei manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Brooks wants to stand and escape but instead Termei has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Termei might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Brooks haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Termei controls Brooks momentarily but Brooks frees himself.
Brooks postures up and lands a big shot to Termei 's brow.

Brooks stands and steps away. Termei gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Termei lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Termei connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Brooks momentarily.
Jerome Brooks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brooks takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Termei connects with a crisp jab.
Termei connects with a right that clearly hurt Brooks. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Termei proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Brooks collapses and taps out under the pressure!
