The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cunningham changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moran looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Moran tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cunningham wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Moran is looking for a sweep.

Cunningham is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Moran is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

It looks like Moran might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Moran controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Moran drops back looking for a leg! Cunningham is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cunningham manages to kick Moran off! Moran jumps back into Cunningham's guard.
Moran keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cunningham's head.
Cunningham is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Moran is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Cunningham can't fight it off and eventually Moran manages to take the fight to the floor. Cunningham looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
