Mendes has chosen Chop Suey! as his entrance music. Pimpolho has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Manel Pimpolho has the better chin. Mendes lands a high kick!
It looks like Manel Pimpolho has been cut.
Pimpolho looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Mendes feints and as Pimpolho raises his hands in defense, Mendes changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Mendes slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Mendes is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pimpolho looks calm but he's in trouble here. Mendes gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pimpolho is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Mendes lets go of the hold and Pimpolho can pop his arm back in it's socket.
