Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nothing KO (ranked 4285 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael De Souza (ranked 7583 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rafael De Souza!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De Souza throws a shot from downtown. KO moves away and avoids it.
KO keeps the fight on the outside.
No luck for De Souza with that takedown attempt.
De Souza defending well as KO loads up on a big left hand.
De Souza throws a big counter head kick but KO avoids it with no problem.
KO misses with a left hand
and De Souza counters with a left and a right that stings KO.
De Souza tries to close the distance and clinch up but KO swats him away and circles back towards the center.
KO misses with an uppercut
and De Souza counters with a left and a right that stings KO.
KO leaves De Souza with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
KO throws a series of strikes that have De Souza backpedaling.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
KO lands a body shot.
De Souza throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
De Souza is looking to clinch.
KO scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. De Souza doesn't seem bothered though.

That's one minute gone in the round.
De Souza throws a poor cross that misses
and KO counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
De Souza fails with the takedown
letting KO counter with a right hand.
Nothing KO has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rafael De Souza.
KO moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
KO lands a nice looking body shot.
Nothing KO is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
De Souza looks winded!
KO throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent De Souza stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
KO comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Nothing KO seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
and KO counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts De Souza! He's just covering up as KO starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nothing KO!
Nothing KO bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
