The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Timmy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Timmy staying out of range there.
Timmy misses with a shot to the body
and Riise makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Timmy really felt that one!
Riise uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Timmy.
Timmy just misses with a punch to the body.
Riise scores with a push kick.
Riise slips a jab from Timmy.
Timmy ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Timmy swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Riise dives in for a single leg takedown but Timmy sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Riise connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Riise misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Timmy throws out a loose jab but Riise uses good head movement to avoid it.
Riise feints and then cracks Timmy's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Timmy down.
Timmy looks to land a right hand but Riise moved out of range.
Two Piece Timmy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Timmy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Riise gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Timmy.
Timmy thows a left - swing and a miss!

Riise slips a straight right by Timmy.
Timmy lands a nice hook to Riise's body. Riise takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Riise steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Timmy.
Timmy jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A solid leg kick lands there for Riise.
Riise uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Timmy.
Riise ducks under a wild hook from Timmy.
Timmy ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Riise moves away.
Timmy takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Two Piece Timmy has been cut.
Riise moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Timmy swings widly with a right hand
and Riise counters with a flying knee. Nice.
A punch combination from Timmy misses.
Riise lands a leg kick that knocks Timmy off balance momentarily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Timmy blocks a head kick by Riise.
Timmy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Riise sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Riise throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Timmy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice defenses there by Riise.
Riise lands a front kick.
Riise tries to clinch but Timmy moves out of range.
Riise throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Riise looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Good leg kick by Riise there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Riise displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Timmy throws out the jab.
Timmy throws a big shot that misses.
Riise is looking to slow Timmy down with leg kicks.
Timmy chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Riise can pounce on him.
Riise lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Timmy is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
A head kick from Riise lands but Timmy takes it in his stride.
Timmy lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Timmy misses the jab.
Riise moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Riise lands a head kick!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Timmy takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Riise is looking to slow Timmy down with leg kicks.
Timmy throws a hook but Riise blocks it.
Riise's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Timmy connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Riise scrambles back to his feet.
Timmy scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Riise is rocked!
Timmy lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Riise head around and knocks him out cold! Timmy hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
