Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vince Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ed Wood!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Francis DeMontford and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Wood throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sanchez was covering up waiting for the punch and Wood finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Sanchez not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wood wanted to stand there but Sanchez had control of the position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wood is on top in guard.

Wood not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Sanchez really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Vince Sanchez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ed Wood.

Sanchez is looking to counter the offense by Wood and move into the clinch.

Sanchez has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Wood after a bit of a struggle.

Wood shoots in for a double leg but Sanchez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Wood is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sanchez is just riding it out for now. Wood eventually gives up the hold.

Wood throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
