Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Escobar dives in for a single leg takedown but Parades sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Escobar takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Escobar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Escobar instigates a clinch.
Escobar is looking for a takedown.
Escobar really is a fat lump.
Parades is looking to break free of the clinch but Escobar has double underhooks.
Escobar is looking for a takedown.

Parades effectively controlling the action here.

and Parades counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Escobar fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Parades avoids it really well and circles away.

Escobar is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Escobar walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Escobar shoots in for a takedown but Parades shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Escobar is breathing heavily.

Parades throws a counter combo.

Parades closes the distance and pushes Escobar back into the cage.
Escobar has Parades pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Parades manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Escobar prevents Parades from breaking the clinch.
Escobar blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Escobar has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Parades is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Parades manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Parades blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Parades looking to throw knees to the head but Escobar is blocking nicely.
Parades holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Parades wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Escobar misses with a short punch on the inside.
Parades wants to get back to striking at distance but Escobar won't allow it.
Parades working hard to break the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Suan Parades dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Escobar looks for a takedown but Parades sprawls well.

Suan Parades seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Parades moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


Escobar is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Parades counters with a huge left! Escobar is in big trouble! He's backing up but Parades isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Escobar from any more damage. A dominating finish by Parades!
