Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Navid Prescott (ranked 6339 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Hervy (ranked 4712 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Navid Prescott has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Navid Prescott seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, David Hoff and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hervy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Hervy misses with a two punch combination.
Hervy is looking to land body kicks.
Hervy has a takedown stuffed.
As Hervy tries to get set, Prescott tries to push him back and clinch up but Hervy manages to avoid the attempt.
Hervy avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Prescott has his takedown stuffed
and Hervy counters with a stiff right hand.
Prescott shoots in for a takedown but Hervy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Prescott cracks Hervy with a big right hand but Hervy just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

We've been informed that Hervy has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

We've been hearing good reports from Prescott's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close round but I would say that Navid Prescott will probably get the nod.
