Rydeland has chosen Robbery - Not sneak attack as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Shark Attack could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to John Rydeland's chin.

With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Rydeland!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rydeland throws a body shot but no joy.
Attack is looking to counter punch.
Rydeland getting the better of the striking in that exchange.


It looks like Shark Attack has been cut.
Attack shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Attack takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
We've been hearing reports that Attack has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Rydeland throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Rydeland lands with an uppercut that bounces Attack off the cage and back into range.
John Rydeland is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

It looked like Attack wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Attack takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

John Rydeland dominated that round.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Oh Attack is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
John Rydeland seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Rydeland lands a big right hand that sends Attack crashing to the mat! Rydeland stays standing though and waves Attack back to his feet!
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Attack might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.
Rydeland lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rydeland bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Attack's head backwards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rydeland cracks Attack with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Attack falls to his knees and Rydeland doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
