Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Seu Braga and Paulo Santos.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Torres drives through and clinches with Trevino against the cage.
Trevino tries to circle away but Torres has him pinned against the cage.

Torres wants the takedown. Trevino is fighting it off but Torres persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Trevino's guard against the cage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Trevino is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Torres stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Torres is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Torres throws a sloppy head kick and Trevino moves out of range easily.
Trevino attempts a counter takedown but Torres avoids it well and moves away.
Torres tries to clinch but Trevino moves away

so Trevino counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Trevino throws an elbow that misses. Torres uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Trevino's guard. Nice move by Torres!

Torres trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Torres gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Trevino tries to clinch up but Torres circles away and keeps his distance.
Torres thinks about the counter body kick.

Torres misses with a kick to the body.
Trevino tries to counter with a takedown but Torres is quick to defend against it.
Torres misses with a low kick.
Trevino jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Torres keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Torres lands with a nice combination. Trevino backs away looking to recover.

It looks like Esteban Trevino has been cut.
Torres throws a series of punches but Trevino moves out of range.
Torres lands a big head kick that sends Trevino to the canvas! Torres follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
