The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Matthews, right into the meat.
Owens misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
No joy there for Matthews, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Owens motions for Matthews to come forward. Owens throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Owens decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
